The Well Dog Place is not a Veterinary Office. We are pleased to offer an alternative to the traditional veterinary experience. Rather than a sterile office experience, we offer one-on-one consultations with holistic programs that consider your dog’s total health in the context of their newly diagnosed condition. Rather than traditional veterinary services (exams, vaccinations, hospitalization, diagnostics, treatments, medications or prescriptions), we focus on the work that has already been done, help you understand what it means and formulate a holistic health plan to manage the condition and still address your dog’s total health needs. We provide the Chinese herbs, essential oils, nutritional plans, and supplements necessary to manage your dog’s condition and promote their optimum health.

Dr. Tudor is awesome! I'd been looking for a local, holistic veterinarian/nutritionist for quite some time and was excited to learn about The Well Dog.I brought in my chihuahua for a wellness exam and the atmosphere of the office was so pleasant and relaxed that my dog didn't even know we were at a vets office until Dr. Tudor brought out his stethoscope.

Dr. Tudor was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and he spent more than an hour answering all of my questions. I left his office feeling as though he was genuinely interested in my dog's well being. He recommended a few dietary supplements that were extremely affordable. I only wish my own healthcare was this thorough and cost effective.

Dear Dr. Ken Tudor at The Well Dog Place,

My human took me to see you last week and we had a great time. You were so nice as you let me explore your office and smell everything you have there. One thing I noticed after our visit though is that the size of our treats have gotten smaller. I like my treats. What happened? My human has started adding other really cool stuff to our food though and I think I might be losing weight and my fur is getting softer. What did you tell her? My sister will be visiting you next month. I am going to give her a heads-up... See you soon.

When my Jack Russell terrier, Rosie, was diagnosed for bladder and kidney stones for a second time, I was devastated. I was unable to have surgery performed right away on her, so Dr. Tudor suggested I start her on a Hearthstone Homemade recipe that would control her stones when she eventually had her surgery. By her time for surgery, I changed veterinarians and my old veterinarian was unable to make a copy of Rosie’s x-ray showing her urinary stones. My new vet repeated the x-rays before scheduling her surgery and what a surprise for both of us. Rosie’s bladder stones and most of her kidney stones had dissolved on the homemade diet recipe. The remaining calcification in one of her kidneys was not likely to dissolve but would not cause her any problems in the future.

We are extremely grateful that the Hearthstone Homemade program spared Rosie from a second surgery. We are keeping both of our dogs on the program and recommend that other dog owners with the same condition do the same.
